Terms of service
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ElecHub website and any order you place with us. ElecHub is an electrical component sourcing company based in Liushi, Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China ("ElecHub", "we", "us"). By placing an order or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are and what we do
ElecHub operates as an electrical component sourcing partner and supplier. We help international buyers source low-voltage electrical components from China's manufacturing network, and we also sell standard electrical parts directly from stock.
Unless expressly stated in writing, we are not the manufacturer of the products we supply. We select, purchase, inspect and ship products on your behalf or as a reseller.
2. Quotes and pricing
Quotes are provided in US dollars (USD) and are valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise. Pricing for sourcing orders is presented transparently and is made up of three components:
- Product price — the factory or supplier price of the goods;
- Service fee — our sourcing, verification, inspection and coordination fee, tiered as follows:
| Order value under US$5,000 | 12% |
| US$5,000 – US$20,000 | 10% |
| Above US$20,000 | 8% |
- Freight — quoted at cost for your destination and chosen shipping method.
For standard parts purchased directly from our online catalogue, the price shown at checkout already includes our margin, and shipping is charged separately (see our Shipping Policy).
3. Orders and payment
An order becomes binding when payment has been received in full (or when the agreed deposit has been received, for orders placed on deposit terms). We accept payment by PayPal and by other methods agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, including where a product is unavailable, where a quoted price was clearly listed in error, or where we cannot verify the buyer or delivery details. If we cancel an order, any amount already paid for that order will be refunded.
4. Trade terms (Incoterms)
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, international orders are shipped under the trade term you select at the time of quotation, in accordance with Incoterms 2020:
- EXW — goods are made available at our supplier's premises; the buyer arranges and pays for all onward costs;
- FOB — we deliver the goods to the port and load them; risk transfers when the goods are on board;
- CIF — we pay sea freight and basic insurance to the destination port; import clearance is the buyer's responsibility;
- DAP — we deliver to the buyer's address; import duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility;
- DDP — we deliver to the buyer's address with import duties and customs clearance paid by us.
5. Lead times and delivery
Indicative lead times are:
- Standard parts in stock: dispatched within 1–3 business days;
- Sourced or made-to-order components: typically 7–20 business days before dispatch, depending on the factory;
- Transit time: express services 3–7 business days; standard international services 7–20 business days.
Lead times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by customs authorities, carriers, public holidays, force majeure or events outside our reasonable control do not constitute a breach of these Terms.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- providing complete, accurate technical specifications and any drawings or part numbers;
- confirming that the products you order comply with the safety, certification and regulatory requirements of your destination market;
- providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact details;
- paying any import duties, taxes or clearance charges that fall to you under the agreed trade term.
7. Inspection, warranty and returns
We inspect goods before shipment as described on our How It Works page. Warranty coverage and after-sales handling are set out on our Warranty & After-Sales page. Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
8. Intellectual property
Drawings, specifications, trademarks and other materials you provide remain your property (or that of their rightful owner). You confirm that you have the right to share them with us and with the manufacturers we engage on your behalf. We will not disclose them to third parties except as needed to fulfil your order.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid to us for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of profit, production downtime or loss of business, however arising.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it will be submitted to the competent court at our place of business in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order applies to that order.
