Ferrule Terminal
$10.99
Tinned copper tube butt connectors for permanently joining two stranded conductors. Non-insulated, with an inspection window so you can confirm the conductor is fully seated before crimping.
- Body: annealed copper, tin-plated for corrosion resistance
- Type: non-insulated butt splice (tube) connector with viewing window
- Conductor range: 4 mm² to 70 mm²
- Termination: crimp — standard hand or hydraulic crimping tooling
- Certification: CE, RoHS
Where they are used
- Splicing conductors in control panels and distribution boards
- Extending or repairing power, control and earth conductors
- Switchgear, busbar and cable assembly work
- Motor leads, transformer tails and general panel wiring
Why tin-plated copper
Tin plating protects the copper from oxidation in damp or industrial atmospheres and keeps the joint solderable. The annealed copper body deforms predictably under crimping pressure, producing a gas-tight, low-resistance connection.
